Ronald "Ron(nie)" Glasgow was a Scottish rugby union player.[1]
He was capped ten times between 1962-65 for Scotland.[1] He also played for Dunfermline RFC,[1] and Gordonians RFC.
Allan Massie considers that:
Glasgow's try was the first Scottish one in Cardiff for twenty seven years.[3]
Robin Lind (Harry?!) who played for Dunfermline and North-Midlands said "never, ever did I think my team would lose when Ron Glasgow played for us. And very seldom we did."[2]
He was the father of Cammie Glasgow, who was also capped for Scotland.[1]
He was PE teacher at Dollar Academy and head of the school cadet force.[2]
